Marsh @WorkSolutions, through MetLife® Auto & Home or Travelers Insurance (depending on your state of residence), offers you benefits and conveniences that may not be available to the general public, including special group rates* and policy discounts*.

A: The program’s carriers are MetLife® Auto & Home and Travelers. Marsh @WorkSolutions has
assigned each carrier to specific states based on its rate competitiveness, its underwriting flexibility,
and the quality of its claims service in each area. The chart below indicates your state’s carrier.

A:
This program offers a variety of payment options:

  • Payroll deduction, with no interest charges or service fees

  • Mortgagee billing for home/condo insurance
  • Other billing options are also available.

Q: If I have an accident, whom do I call to file a claim?
A:

Claims representatives are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to take your call
regarding an accident or property damage. Even though Marsh @WorkSolutions doesn’t
handle your claim, as your program manager, we are able to answer questions you may have,
should you need any assistance.

Q: What happens if I retire or leave American Standard?
A:
Whether you retire or leave American Standard for another reason, you can continue your
coverage without interruption. Retirees also remain eligible for the group rate. Since payroll
deduction is no longer available, most people who retire or leave their employer convert to
monthly checking account deduction because it offers similar features. Other billing options
are also available.

 

Auto and home insurance is a voluntary program that American Standard makes available to its employees through Marsh @WorkSolutions. American Standard does not sponsor, contribute to, or endorse any service or policy offered under the program. American Standard’s responsibility under PersonalPlans is limited to coordinating payroll deductions for premium payments. If you choose to purchase a service or policy under PersonalPlans, your contract for coverages will be with each insurance provider, and your contract for policy servicing will be Marsh @WorkSolutions.

*Auto/home coverage is available in most states to those who qualify. Coverage, underwritten by MetLife® Auto & Home, is available in most states to those who qualify. In Texas, real property policies are provided by Metropolitan Lloyds Insurance Company of Texas, Irving, TX. In Texas, auto policies are provided by either Metropolitan Property and Casualty Insurance Company, Metropolitan General Insurance Company, Metropolitan Casualty Insurance Company, Metropolitan Direct Property and Casualty Insurance Company, all of Warwick, RI, or GAINSCO County Mutual Insurance Company, Fort Worth, TX, through an arrangement with Metropolitan Property and Casualty Insurance Company. In some instances, special arrangements for coverage have been made with other carriers.
